One-Write Plus: Run on Windows 7 & 8
Using an XP Partition

One-Write Plus accounting software can be used on a Windows 7 or 8 computer by first setting up an XP partition. This can be done using the XP partition built into Windows or use VMware.

This link takes you to an article where Microsoft describes their Windows XP partition. They caution that they are no longer supporting use of Windows XP.

Here's a link to the VMware website where Player Pro is for sold for a reasonable price. This does a good job of running OWP on the Windows 8 computer in my office, although there have been some issues with printing.
